Hello Everyone,
Today I am sharing a card I made using two Downland Crafts stamp sets. The first set is Country Lane. This is the flower set. The second set is As Gaeilge and this is an Irish Sentiment set.
Firstly I got a piece of Strathmore Bristol Smooth cardstock and cut it to size. I blended three distress Oxide Colours Blueprint Sketch, Peacock Feathers and Black Soot. I used the black Soot around the edges and the Peacock Feathers for the highlight in the centre. I splattered the background with water and then Pixie dust to give it some shimmer. When the panel had dried I lined up my stamps along the bottom and stamped the flower images with Versafine Onyx Black ink. Once the images dried I prepped the background with some anti static powder and stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink. I used silver embossing powder and heated it with my heat tool.
Once the whole panel had dried I cut another panel of Silver paper slightly larger and stuck it to the back of the Inked Background. I used black cardstock for the Base and added raindrop sequins for more dimension.
