Beannachtaí na Féile Pádraig.
We were hoping to go to our local parade today but sadly the good old Irish weather made that not such a good idea unless we wanted to risk having a nasty cold next week. The rain has been lashing all day along with lots of wind making the letter box rattle which in turn means the dog keeps barking thinking someone’s at the door.
There’s not a lot of protection from the rain standing in Killeshandra high street with no cover to hide under whilst watching the floats go by so sadly we had to make the decision to forego the annual parade this year.
After chatting to people on Facebook this morning it seems the bad weather made for lots of soggy parades today but that didn’t stop us all chatting away in groups and on pages.
